The Audio Oscilloscope is a passive display that plots the audio signal as a time-history waveform, like a hardware scope. It has one audio input and no output, so it monitors the signal without changing it. The first parameter sets the snapshot length — the number of samples captured per sweep (400 to 100000) — and the second sets the vertical amplitude range (0.01 to 10). Freeze/Unfreeze and Reset buttons hold and rescale the trace.
Incoming samples are written into a rolling buffer whose length is the snapshot size; the buffer is redrawn at a refresh rate derived from its duration, with the vertical axis scaled to the amplitude range. It processes one sample-frame per tick, in step with WaveWarp's sample-per-sample engine.
