Control Oscilloscope

What it is

The Control Oscilloscope is a passive display that plots a control signal as a time-history trace. It has one control input and no audio path. The first parameter sets the snapshot length in samples (400 to 100000) and the second the vertical amplitude; a Max value selector scales the vertical axis by decade — 1, 10, 100, 1000, 10000 or 100000 — and a Range selector switches the axis between bipolar -1:1 and unipolar 0:1. Freeze/Unfreeze and Reset buttons hold and rescale the trace.

How it works

Each control value is written into a rolling buffer of the chosen snapshot length and redrawn at a refresh rate derived from its duration, with the vertical axis set by the Max value decade and the Range. It processes one sample-frame per tick, in step with WaveWarp's sample-per-sample engine.
