Control Generators

Single Impulse

What it is

A control generator that fires a single one-sample impulse and then stays silent. Pre-delay sets how many samples elapse before the impulse, Amplitude sets its height, and a Max value selector (1, 10, 100, 1000 or 10000) multiplies the pre-delay range so the delay can reach from a few samples up to very long intervals. It has no audio input or output, only a single control output, and is typically used to trigger or step other control blocks at a precise moment.

How it works

The effective pre-delay in samples is the Pre-delay value multiplied by the selected range factor; a sample counter runs until it reaches that count, emits Amplitude for exactly one tick, then latches off so no further impulse is produced. One control value is produced per tick, in step with WaveWarp's sample-per-sample engine.
