Uniform Noise Pan 2

What it is

An auto-panner that swings the signal across the stereo image using a random panning profile. It reads a band-limited uniform-noise wavetable and drives the left and right channels inversely, so as one side rises the other falls. Mix sets the depth of the panning modulation and Rate controls how fast the noise profile changes. It takes one audio input and produces a stereo (panned) output.

How it works

A band-limited uniform-noise wavetable is generated once, with change points spaced by the sample rate divided by Rate, and scaled by the mix depth; a single read pointer walks backwards through the table, feeding the left channel with that value and the right channel with its complement. One sample-frame is produced per tick, in step with WaveWarp's sample-per-sample engine.
