Modulation

Multi Chorus

What it is

A multi-voice chorus that layers many modulated delay taps from a single input. Delay sets the base delay time and # Voices how many taps are spread across it (up to 100), while Sweep rate, Sweep depth and Sweep width shape the modulation that moves the taps. Mix blends dry and wet and Gain Out sets the output level. A Modulation selector picks the sweep shape — Sine, Sawtooth, Log (symmetric), Square, Log (asymmetric), Random (uniform) or Random (telegraph).

How it works

The input is written to a delay buffer and read back at several evenly-spaced taps whose lengths are modulated by a wavetable of the chosen shape, using linear interpolation between samples; the voices are summed and mixed with the dry signal. Each read and write happens one sample-frame per tick, in keeping with WaveWarp's sample-per-sample engine.
