Generic Function

What it is

Generic Function is a control-domain template block: a single reusable slot for a mathematical function of its control inputs, wired for two control inputs and one control output. The specific function is fixed in the source at build time rather than chosen from the board, so the block exposes no adjustable parameters and no on-screen selector. In the current build it raises ten to the power of the first control input (10^x); the second control input is available for two-argument functions but is not used by that expression.

How it works

Each tick it reads its control input, applies the compiled-in function, and writes the single control result to its output. It is evaluated once per engine tick, one sample-frame at a time, as WaveWarp's sample-per-sample engine advances.
