Control Math

Ceiling

What it is

The Ceiling block rounds a single control input up to the nearest integer — the smallest whole number that is greater than or equal to the input — and writes it to a control output. It is a control-domain math operator with no adjustable parameters.

How it works

On every tick it reads the incoming control value, applies the standard-library ceil function and stores the rounded value on the output control pin. It holds no state and processes one sample-frame per tick, in step with WaveWarp's sample-per-sample engine.
