ArcCosh

What it is

The ArcCosh block computes the inverse hyperbolic cosine (acosh) of a single control input and writes the result to a control output. It is a control-domain math operator with no adjustable parameters — the transfer is fixed. A real result is only defined when the input is at least 1, following the ordinary acosh domain.

How it works

On every tick it reads the incoming control value, applies the standard-library acosh function and stores the result on the output control pin. It holds no state and processes one sample-frame per tick, in step with WaveWarp's sample-per-sample engine.
