Sine Osc (A)

What it is

Sine Osc (A) is a sine-wave audio oscillator whose amplitude is set in real time by a control input — the (A) stands for amplitude control. It has no audio input, one audio output and one control input, and a single Frequency parameter (40 Hz to 15 kHz, default 400) sets the pitch. It runs in mono and stereo.

How it works

The oscillator reads a sine wavetable, stepping through it by an increment derived from the Frequency and the graph sample rate, and multiplies each output sample by the current control-input value so the level tracks the controller. It processes one sample-frame per tick, in step with WaveWarp's sample-per-sample engine.
